Whether you want to rent a single campsite, or book the entire venue, 

your story starts here.

For players that prefer a resident community; 

we have created a High Fantasy pocket dimension. 

Choose Your Faction

There are additional outdoor adventure possibilities that we call "LARP trekking" 

for players with mounts, or that want to backpack through miles of trails.  

We can write scripts for you, and guide Adventures;

or you can rent a campsite and keep your journey entirely to yourself. 

The choice is yours.

As Poesy so eloquently penned it:

You can not define The Firefly Tavern as one category

While it shares the small-party, high-immersion fantasy elements of an Adventure Path, 

The Firefly Tavern readily dives into Wilderness Expedition 

and Dark Fantasy Sandbox territory.

It can be described across four overlapping categories:

Wilderness Expedition

With 424 acres of perennial forest, the environment is a primary mechanic. 

Instead of following a single path, your party can participate in true "LARP Trekking" 

Wilderness hiking, horseback riding, or canoeing, 

and off-grid camping under the stars.

Blockbuster, or Boutique Faction Sandbox

Due to its high production value The Firefly Tavern can also function as an elite Blockbuster, 

or Boutique Faction Sandbox, where players can choose distinct factions 

(The Amethyst Conclave, The Shiver, The Rampant Hart, or The Hallowed Lance). 

Rather than running a pre-written dungeon module, factions interact, compete for dynamic territory, earn physical improvements for your base, and trade at unique, lore-friendly, markets.

Heavy Living-History / Immersive Simulation

Practice your anachronistic skills in a high-immersion dark fantasy world with real wildlife. 

Care for your mounts, practice physical campcraft, 

and cook authentic medieval meals in community ovens. 

You can even choose to play by traditional Sumptuary Laws, 

where your character’s in-game social status dictates your costume and food options.
